Run For Girls 2017
For many girls in the developing world, the double discrimination of gender and age has placed them at a disadvantaged position. They are often denied access to health services and education, and succumb to violence, abuse, and harassment. Run For Girls is a charity run co-organized by Plan International Hong Kong and Cosmopolitan with the aim of fighting for and promoting girls’ rights and justice, protecting girls in developing countries from discrimination, inequality and violence.

Unopened space: An illusion of public access?
Project by Civic Exchange
Yes – Hong Kong is very crowded. But did you know that everyone is entitled to a certain amount of open space thanks to government planning standards? In practice, do we really get fair and equal access to this promised space? And these guidelines on “recreational open space” were introduced 35 years ago – is that still good enough to meet our needs today? Help us to build the case for delivering new policies relevant to everyone’s daily life in Hong Kong. Help us to make our city an equitable and sustainable place to live!
