The Brief CantOpera Song: a Mission
How can our local heritage Cantonese operatic singing be conserved and rejuvenated, so that it can be better received by people of today? We are confident that the Brief CantOpera Song initiative is in the right direction, but how should its debut be presented to touch the modern hearts? The answer is this “fever” CD, the very first album of songs in this format. We must raise sufficient fund, or else the project dies an early death. We call upon our friends with a heart in conserving local heritages to click on “Becoming a Fund Raising Ambassador.” Your task is simple: “In your own name, spread the news……” The like-minded recipients will contribute $138 (one of several options). What to come is far more than their receiving a “fever” CD as gift ---- seeds are sowed on good soil, promising flowers and fruits everywhere.
