We are super excited to announce that after very strong support in our Happy Cow wholesale business over the last two months and reworking our renovations to reduce costs we will only need to raise HK$80,000 for our scoop shop!  Thank you for all of your support, it is amazing to have so much community support. We are almost done with our renovations, come visit us soon.

After receiving tons of support, helpful feedback (and a few renovation delays), we have decided to offer two more types of yummy ice cream rewards and to extend our fundraising period to 31 March 2017.  We want to give everyone the opportunity to participate in our campaign and to help us reach our goal!

The cows have arrived! We have begun to install the decorative items in our HKU shop!

 Many thanks to local artist Rainbow Kwok for reconstructing her artwork in our shop.  Super excited for the opportunity to work with Rainbow and King Rhomberg on a small art installation of their work at HKU over the next couple of months. A fully biography and interview with the artists will be available for viewing at our shop. As a preview: 

Rainbow- What would you like the HKU students to understand about your artistry on the cow?

Answer: The cow is called "The Silver Lining". Having inspired by the kids, the artist Rainbow Kwok reckons the happiness at its simplest form is to be free. Painting the cow with the children and having two games installed on both sides of the cow, Rainbow wants the participants to be able to be free and interact with the artwork. Also, she wants to break the tradition - instead of just glazing the artwork from a far distance, she allows the audience to participate and engage freely with her work.   

The games Wiggle Wire and Bucket Ball are many of ours childhood memories. Rainbow is trying to use these simple games to bring us back in the young and carefree time. During the games, small acts such as a little touch of the wire can be the trigger to a loud sound; reminding us that a little act in our lives can actually make a big difference. We should have every control of ourselves to set free, and trigger our own happiness in belief of "every cloud has a silver lining".

We are making progress on our store renovation.  So far we have completed our new floor and have started to move in some of our decorative items.  Next we will start building our Happy Kiosk and our Happy Farm.  Stay tuned!
