Over 600 ceramic water filters finally reached the Rohingya Refugee Camp in Bangladesh. With the help from the manufacturer, a training session on the usage and proper handling of the filters was delivered in the camp. Water filters were then distributed orderly to ease the hardship of getting clean water in the camp.

Friends, thank you for caring the Rohingyas refugees. We have made a down payment for the 660 ceramic water filters which are now getting ready to be shipped to Bangladesh.

August 2, our team has paid a deposit to the ceramic water filter manufacturer in Yunnan, China. A container of filters will be transported by sea to Chittagong, Bangladesh, and then sent to the Rohingyas refugee camp at the border of Myanmar in Bangladesh. PCB will distribute the filters to the refugee families. When the container arrives at Chittagong, we will have to pay the rest of the payment.

The container is expected to arrive in Chittagong by the end of August. A container of water filters to the need for more than a million of refugees is minimal but it is a blessing from Hong Kong. Please continue to support the "give a cup of cold water for the little ones" project. Amount exceeds the target will be used via the Roy To Memorial Fund for the provision of safe water for the South Asian children in poverty.
