About i-dArt
Art is a barrier-free common language. To appreciate beautiful things and to do creation freely are inborn abilities and rights of human beings. The focus of art appreciation should be on the power that the creators give to their creations and also their abilities, instead of their intelligence or physical ability. Holding this faith, we believe that art allows each individual to demonstrate and realize one’s “abilities”. We will use art to connect people with different abilities and will explore more possibilities and creative spaces in the community. In addition, we will encourage more people with different abilities to participate in art so as to promote social inclusion.
Use of funds
Funds received will be used for the development of existing art training and courses, such as instructor fees and material expenses for artmaking, and as expenditure for organizing a number of forthcoming exhibitions and performances. Furthermore, funds will also be applied for projects to promote inclusive education such as community art programs and workshops.
- A donation of $700 can support a person with different abilities to receive music training for 3 months from a professional instructor. (so as to release his emotions and to develop his music potentials)
- A donation of $1,200 can support a person of different abilities to receive ceramic training for 3 months from a professional instructor. (so as to cultivate his potentials and to train his fine motor)
- A donation of $5,600 can support a person to organise a solo exhibition for one week.
- A donation of $18,000 can support a person with different abilities to take a year comprehensive fine art course.
