Replacement of 10 Blood Donor Chairs in Blood Transfusion Centers

Having been providing blood transfusion service in Hong Kong for more than half a century, Hong Kong Red Cross is facing a problem of insufficient facilities and equipment to meet the rising demand for blood transfusion services in recent years, and donor chairs are now in most urgent need of replacement. The aging of donor chairs has caused a reduction in the number of chairs. Though some of the foldable donor chairs of the mobile teams have been mobilized to fill gap, we are still facing difficulties in coping with the increasing demand in the long run. We hope to raise HK$200,000 and purchase 10 new model electronic donor chairs in the coming year. Please act now and help us replace our donor beds.
