John Lennon - Stamp

With over 3,000 of 1960s Hong Kong generic stamps selected from 20,000+ stamps collected in 8 years of time, artist Ng Lung Wai made this spectacular portrait of John Lennon.
The stamp bears a chop with date and post office location. Some even has message of government propaganda like “save water” on it.

There are only number 1 to 46 token in the portrait by Ng Lung Wai.
The tokens get darker with number and fade to black at 46.
President John F. Kennedy passed away in the age of 46 in 1963.

Soy Sauce Matches?

This match box design is the promotional item for a Hong Kong soy sauce company in 1960s.
Each of the matches is the bottle and packing of the series of soy sauce products.
The red bottle cap is the match head, which is very attractive indeed!

One of the thanks gifts for this fundraising campaign - 1960s Stickpin Badges gift box set
This was the prevailing souvenir for pinning to lapel as a media for promoting products and the brands during that period.
The artist uses this to create the iconic movie star, Audrey Hepburn, of the same period is very representative.
