A beautiful end to the HK trail, ending in Big Wave Bay. Thank you to all my sponsors and all the support from friends.

Distance: 7.25km

Finally found the entrance to stage 7.   Lovely views along the way, although the path is a bit monotonous.  Be prepared for the climb at the end to get back to the road. 

Distance covered 7.5km.

Duration: 2 hours

Major fail.  Managed to find what I thought was the beginning of stage 7, but then walked in the wrong direction ending up back on stage 6!  Poor directions.

To be continued...Absolutely gorgeous scenery though and ended up doing the hike from Tai Tam Tuk back to Parkview.

A beautiful day for a hike with Autumn in the air! Extra special today as a I had a wingman!

Managed to complete two stages today.  And walk an extra 30 minutes uphill for nothing (got lost).  

Stage 5: 4.0 km / Stage 6: 4.5 km  

Note: When you finish stage 5 and enter the picnic site, otherwise known as Great Wind Pass, take a sharp right to join the HK Trail Stage 6, staying on paved road going downhill.   Do not walk straight ahead, which is uphill and in completely the wrong direction.   Lesson Learnt.

Stage 4 of the HK Trail completed!  This hike was just post typhoon, so there were a few obstacles along the way.  The waterfalls were gushing with water though.  Decided to run half of this trail and walk the other half. Hearing a rustling noise in the bush made me decide to start running, then I kept going!

Very nice scenery today on stage 2 of the HK Trail.  Got a little lost towards the end, ended up walking an extra 20-30 minutes than planned. 

Kicked off my fundraising hiking today, better late than never!  Between now and November I will try to complete all 8 stages of the Hong Kong Trail.
