Helping diabetic patients prevent diabetic neuropathy

Over time, diabetes can cause nerve damage and poor circulation. Nerve damage can make it hard for patients to feel sensation in their extremities, so they may not detect an injury or irritation. Poor circulation in the feet reduces the ability to heal, making it hard for even a tiny cut to resist infection. For more severely case, patients may have get amputation or even die.

We would like to raise funds to purchase foot testing instruments (1) Biothesiometer & (2) Ultrasound Doppler to examine quantitative nerve reactions and leg blood circulation for diabetics so as to help patients detect diabetic neuropathy and other foot problems early and avoid further deterioration.
