I target to raise HK$10,000 for Anchor Run 2018.
親愛的朋友，願你平安！
今個星期六（12月1日）早上，我將會參加香港基督少年軍的十公里慈善賽跑（BBHK Anchor Run），希望得到你在代禱或捐款上的支持。
這次慈善賽跑的受惠機構是我和我家一起參與多年的義務工作組織-香港基督少年軍。是次經我募捐所得的款項，將會全數資助一項該機構的全新事工：『家長義工小組』。
此事工的異象是：
（一）增強家長群體作為基督少年軍運動支持份者的角色和功能。
（二）透過有系統的家長工作帶領隊員一家信主及在教會中成長。
這個新事工的其中一位推動者，是我的太太芷霞，她在約十年前有所領受，要在教會的基督少軍分隊第三分隊中發展家長工作。
這十年來，看見隊員們的家長們被邀請加入小組，並在當中彼此照顧，互相幫助，無論在家庭、社交和屬靈生活上，都感覺到他們的喜樂滿足。我和太太在他們當中，除了因他們的喜樂而感恩，我們也獲益良多。所以，我們都非常支持這事工，並祈求它能有所發展，幫助更多家庭。
大概兩年前，蒙主悅納，家長義工小組的 事工有機會由個別教會、分隊推展至總部的層面作討論，研究於不同分隊中推動的可行性。感謝主！此事工的發展計劃，於去年被香港基督少年軍接納並且將會在2019年， 香港基督少年軍踏入 60週年的同時，正式邀請各分隊參與，並由總部統籌各分隊成立『家長義工小組』。
期望此事工能於總部的推動和資源的配合下，協助更多教會發展家長工作，建立更多健康有品家庭，成為推動社會正向發展的基本單位。

Anchor Run 2018
The Boys’ Brigade, Hong Kong endeavours to foster positive thinking, cultivate and cement a sense of integrity and conscience among children who are as young as three years of age. The Anchor Run, as a sports fundraising campaign organized by the Boys’ Brigade, Hong Kong, is meant to:- 1) Serve as a conduit to advocate the culture of healthy exercise and positive attitude, thereby encouraging more citizens to engage in regular physical activity and exercise with their family members and friends so as to promote their physical fitness, psychological well-being, as well as the collegiality among them; and 2) Call more attention from the society to the developmental needs of children and teenagers, for the betterment of our future generations.
