Viva is passionate about releasing children from poverty and abuse worldwide by growing locally-led networks who are committed to working together to ensure that children are safe, well and able to fulfill their God-given potential. 

We invite runners to run for children such as 15 year old Leli who in hopes of escaping poverty, traveled to the city and was introduced to a man who claimed to have a job opportunity. 

He purchased her for a mere $100 and made her sleep with many men. It was only when she was introduced to a local church that she received medical help and counselling. 

CarNet, Viva's partner network in Nepal works towards tackling the root of trafficking so that children like Leli will no longer face the horror and degradation of sex trafficking. CarNet brings together 500 churches to draw on the power of volunteers to keep children safe.

The network helps get children back to school, provide after-school clubs, equip single mothers to set up small businesses, and increase the awareness of trafficking to families. 

By running and fundraising for us, you can help us reach more children who are vulnerable to being trafficked.
