2018 OLYMPIC DAY - Event Information

Event/ Starting time

  • 5km Fun Run - 8:30 a.m. (time limit: 1 hour)
  • 3km Fun Run - 9:00 a.m. (time limit: 40 minutes)
  • 3km Family Run - 9:15 a.m. (time limit: 40 minutes)
     

Entry Requirement

  • 3km & 5km Fun Run - Individuals of all ages are welcomed
  • 3km Family Fun Run - At least one adult (Parent/ Guardian) aged 18 years old or above and one child aged 3 to 12 years old
     

Entry fee

  • 3km & 5km Fun Run - HK$100 per person
  • 3km Family Fun Run - HK$250 per group (2 to 4 persons)

*First 100 groups enrolled will each receive a gift voucher of FACE Photography Package for Family shooting.

Total 3,000pax

Remarks for Enrolment

  • Application by mail / fax/ e-mail/ in person or on the event day is NOT accepted.
  • Entry fee is non-refundable once the entry has been accepted.
  • Successful applicants will receive Acceptance Email on or before 13 June 2018. If not, please contact SF&OC after this date to check their entries.
     

Collection of Event T-shirt and Number Bib

  • Participants have to collect the event T-shirt and number bib at Olympic House, 1 Stadium Path, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay on 17 June 2018. For details, please refer to “Acceptance Email”.
  • Note: The Event T- shirt and number bib will NOT be distributed on event day. Participants who cannot present the number bib on the event day will not be allowed to participate in 2018 Olympic Day.
     

2018 Olympic Day

All participants could join the celebration events of 2018 Olympic Day including ceremony, sports trials & activities and sports demonstration, etc. All participants are welcome!
 

Souvenirs

  • Event T-shirt (must be collected before the event)
  • International Olympic Committee Certificate
     

Dress Code

  • No apparel items worn by participants during the event should be emblazoned with commercial names or commercial message except the event T-shirt provided (unless otherwise approved).
  • Organizer would reserve the rights to decline any participants who had violated the rules and regulations set by Organizer.
     

Baggage Storage

Baggage storage will be provided
 

Prize and Ranking

As this is a Fun Day event, there will not be any prizes or rankings
 

Lucky Draw

All participants could join the lucky draw to be held on the event day using the number bib. Lucky draw prizes include fabulous gifts sponsored by Samsung, Fila, Fitness First and ClubONE. The results of the Lucky Draw will be announced on 29 June 2018 in Ming Pao and The Standard. (Trade Promotion Competition Licence No.: 50422)
 

Health Advice

  • The weather condition on event day is expected to be very hot and humid as it is held in summer. Sun screen protection, hat and insect repellent are highly recommended.
  • The Organizer suggests all participants to monitor their own physical conditions deemed fit and capable for participating in the event.
  • In case you are feeling sick during the event, you should immediately approach the officials in the vicinity for assistance.

Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) is not only organizing the “Olympic Day” annually, under our management, we have a Sports Legacy Scheme of the Hong Kong Athletes Career & Education Programme (HKACEP), which also needs your SUPPORT!​

Our Goal

Sports can change lives. The Hong Kong Athletes Career and Education Programme (HKACEP) of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) has launched an interactive platform that connects and shares the world of passion and resources from the commercial sector, the education sector and the sports community. This scheme, the Sports Legacy Scheme, was first launched in 2012, to help both student athletes and elite athletes who have retired to pursue their dreams in sports. Participating athletes of this scheme will become Athlete Coaches to provide sports specific training to under-privileged students, through teaching and spreading the positive values of sports and the spirit of olympism, they will (i) identify students’ sports talents, and (ii) guide students’ discipline and character building. The Scheme also aims to build sustainable whole-school sports programmes to improve students’ physical fitness and to establish a sporting culture in schools. The scheme consists of three main components: (i) specific sports training, (ii) fitness training and (iii) involving in society. From 2012 till now, more than ten thousands of students and more than 30 coaches have been benefited from the scheme.​

Sports Legacy Scheme strongly believes that the scheme does not only preserve the legacy spirit, but can also makes significant contributions to the community as a group. It is with belief and passion that the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) established the “SF&OC Sports Legacy Company Limited” to further our mission. The scheme is registered with the Inland Revenue Department as a charitable trust. Official receipts will be issued for donations over HK$100, which are tax deductible. All proceeds, after the deduction of relevant fees charged by bank, will go to SF&OC Sports Legacy Company Limited for programme assistance purposes.
