Welcome to the Ginger Heart online donation page -- fundraising for Operation Santa Claus. We are glad that you are here. Make a difference, have a spice of life this festive season. We cordially invite you to join us to be a Santa Claus this Christmas!
We are a team of 7 MBA students from University of Manchester - Alliance Manchester Business School who recognize there are still many underprivileged and disadvantaged people out there in this superficially wealthy and sufficient society, so we want to do something and contribute what we could to help the fundraising for Operation Santa Claus.
Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is jointly organized by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) which has been helping many indigent charities since 1989. Funds raised by OSC have been awarded to programs and activities which had improved the quality of living for a diversity of people and provided support and assistance to the needy and benefited many people each year. OSC generally favours smaller charities, operating without help from the government (NGO) or other large patrons, which provide services to children & youth support, community care, senior services, medical assistance, mentally challenged or physical disability support. Our fundraising campaign starts from 18 November to 31 December 2016. All proceeds will go to OSC for supporting activities and programs of the 22 pre-selected NGO charities in 2017.
While you donate through Fringebacker, as an appreciation of your kindness, we will reward you with gratitude from our prestige sponsors: Binjinsenmon, Blesscuit, Food for Life, Mandy Sweet, Orange Baking Store, Tea Minutes, Triple Major and Vine Music. The gift will be awarded by random selection within the donation category on the first come first served basis until the quantities last. We beg for your understanding, as we wish to avoid the postal overhead and we will be delivering the gift to you by our volunteer Santa Claus. And we regret that the gift could only be awarded to donors who could meet up in Hong Kong, Kowloon or New Territories area.
