RUN, an NGO that rehabilitates vulnerable refugees through running and other sports...
... focuses on the most vulnerable refugees, particularly women, offering them the opportunity to rehabilitate and recuperate through running and other sports. We strive to turn that negative experience of running into something positive. Our running is one, not of running away, but of running towards, of a positive journey of healing, freedom, achievement, advancement, improvement and peace of mind.

Elevation: 881m of elevation (Parkview > Mt Butler > Violet Hill > Parkview)
Join us for our second annual RUN Charity Race on Saturday, 10th November 2018, in Tai Tam Country Park!
By registering to race, you'll be helping to raise critical funds to support our sports and education programmes to rehabilitate vulnerable refugees. Many of our refugee programme participants are involved in the organisation of the race and will also race on the day, which means you'll be running #WithRefugees, literally and figuratively! Spots are limited, so register today!
You can participate by:

- Creating your own fundraising page
- Sponsoring our event to help cover our costs

19KM RACE DETAIL
9:00AM START (Tai Tam BBQ Area Site 2)
19km / 1,142m of elevation
The race start and finish area is at Tai Tam BBQ Area Site 2 on Tai Tam Reservoir Road next to Parkview.
Easiest access is via cab to the Parkview entrance on Tai Tam Reservoir Road. BBQ site 2 is a 5-10 minute walk down the hill towards Tai Tam Reservoirs, and directly opposite the public toilets at the bottom of the hill.
Buses go to the gas station on Wong Nei Chung Gap Road and it is a solid 25 minute walk up the hill to Parkview and the start/finish area from there.
Start > Jardines Lookout > Mt Butler > CP1 Windy Gap (4km) > Wilson Trail > CP 2 Mt Parker/Tai Tam Dam (8km) > Tai Tam Intermediate Reservoir Trail > Twins Catchwater > CP3 Base of Twins (14km) > The Twins > Violet Hill > Finish at Tai Tam BBQ Area

ABOUT RUN
RUN rehabilitates refugees through running and beyond. The vast majority of our beneficiaries are women, who were victims of violence.
We RUN together with vulnerable refugees to support them to:
Rebuild their mental and physical strength
Unite as a community and with the local Hong Kong community
Nurture each other through sport, food, friendship and education
