Supporting All Black FC Hong Kong – Kick Up Hopes for Refugees and Ethnic Minorities in the City

Project by Medard Privat Koya

All Black FC was established in May 2016 and has since been actively participated in various friendly matches and tournaments. Most players are refugees and asylum seekers in Hong Kong who fled their home countries due to war and persecution. The team provided them with a platform for refugees to express themselves and integrate to the local society. All Black strongly believed that football is a common language bridging people from different social and cultural background. However, since the team is independent, funding for basic operation became a major challenge for the team to continue to thrive.
