About Team Macquarie's Fundraiser

I target to raise HK$60,000 for RUN Charity Race 2018.

Team Macquarie will be RUNning 14km/19km #withrefugees in RUN’s 2nd annual charity race!

Runners: Andrew Graham, Chris Wharton, Sue de Broglio, Jack Yee, Jack Yan, Eddie Cheung, Jessica Zhang, Adam Digges, Girish Budhrani, Tracy Cui and Jodie Chan.

Support us in raising critical funds for RUN, a Hong Kong charity, which operates sports and education programmes to rehabilitate vulnerable refugees with a focus on women: www.runhk.org

RUN serves approximately 100 vulnerable refugees from 17 different countries across Africa, Middle East and South Asia.

  • Over 70% have suffered from horrendous human rights abuses, including torture, rape, physical and mental abuse or a combination of these.
  • 65% are female; 30% of the women participants are alone without family or alone with their children.
  • 6% of the participants are/were unaccompanied minors.

Funds raised will go towards programme costs for the coming year to cover transportation, food, and childcare for refugees participating in RUN’s activities.

Join us for our second annual RUN Charity Race on Saturday, 10th November 2018, in Tai Tam Country Park!

By registering to race, you'll be helping to raise critical funds to support our sports and education programmes to rehabilitate vulnerable refugees. Many of our refugee programme participants are involved in the organisation of the race and will also race on the day, which means you'll be running #WithRefugees, literally and figuratively! Spots are limited, so register today!
