I target to raise HK$4,000 for Outward Bound Adventure Race 2020.
Hi all,
Mary, May, Stephen and I are Team Avocado!!
We have signed up to the Outward Bound Adventure Race and will be trail running/ kayaking/ swimming our way for 16km whilst navigating through maps and through some unmentionable challenges.
We're want to raise at least HK$4,000 by Feb 14 to support Outward Bound's charity works in the process. OB is a non-profit orgnisation that specialises in using outdoor activities to build leadership and life skills amongst youths and young adults.
AND....if we double our target (lucky HK$8000!), we will set up a poll where anyone who's contributed will be able to vote on what they want to see us do in the race.
So please finance us!
The race itself is on March 1 at Stanley, so if you're in the area come celebrate with us after or come watch us slog our way through the course.

Outward Bound Adventure Race 2020
Calling the brave ones who want to embrace challenges! Seeking for a refreshing experience in busy life? Join the “Outward Bound Adventure Race 20” on 10 March 2019 to test your endurance and cooperation skills with your teammates. The Race will be held on Hong Kong Island and requires teams of four. There are two options to choose from - the Challenge route (16 km) or Elite route (20 km). This endurance races for you and your teammates not only test the body across multiple disciplines, including trail running, kayaking, swimming, orienteering, but also push the human spirit to its limits. Corporate teams are also welcomed which helps to enhance team work, communication skills and hence improve team dynamics and work performance among the members. Proceeds of the Adventure Race will be used to support disadvantaged groups in Hong Kong to join Outward Bound training programmes, which help them develop their self-confidence, life skills and positive attitudes to equip themselves for a successful future at school and work.
