I aim to raise HKD 2000 for The Hub in the COVID-19 Hong Kong Virtual Marathon.

The Hub is a non-profit children's support centre in Sham Shui Po which provides educational support, extra-curricular classes, family counselling, social health and wellbeing services to marginalised children living below the poverty line in Hong Kong. Many of these children are left at home unattended by working parents, avoiding school, and unable to afford participation in extracurricular activities.

Covid-19 has hit this group of population particularly hard and have widened the inequality divide in our society. Many do not have adequate access to online classes during the Covid period, and may fall behind even more during this critical period. Some families have been staying at home in cramped “cage  homes” for prolonged periods to keep their family safe during Covid, increasing the risk of stress, anxiety, worry and depression.
