Children Charity Foundation
Children Charity Foundation was established on 1st September, 2013. We aim at providing more fairly opportunities and a better learning environment to children and youths from low-income families in Hong Kong.
Different activities for the less fortunate children and youths have been organised to raise not just donations, but also let them enjoy the festival atmosphere and arouse more mass awareness to the plights of deprived children and their families are facing due to poverty. We hope the donation will help lessen the financial burden of the poverty- stricken families and children.
Moreover, the Foundation has been granted the permission as a charitable institution and exempted from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance of the HKSAR Government for charitable purposes.
Therefore the Foundation had started to launch the Education Funds Programmes and establishing different fundraising activities and campaigns, hopefully could help providing financial support to the needy children and youths of our society from lower income families for pursue a higher education, lightening the future of our next generation.
We believe that every child and adolescent should have equal opportunities to learn, develop and grow with dignity in a community with mutual respect. Therefore, we have been organizing fundraising and advocacy activities to wide-spreading the missions and visions of CCF ‘Family to Family, Kids Helping Kids’, and providing financial aid to local less fortunate children and adolescents to reduce the financial burden of education.
‘CCF Charity Scholarship’
‘CCF Charity Scholarship’ provides scholarship support with HK$ 5,000 to DSE students who cannot afford the enrolment deposit to universities. In 2016, we have already helped more than 45 DSE graduated students enrolled in universities for 2016/17.
CCF has liaised with 26 secondary schools and non-government organizations to support the low-income families to reduce their financial burdens. We hope that the beneficiaries will cherish the opportunity and share the love among needy students.
