About Anthony Tong 湯校長's Fundraiser

I target to raise HK$8,000 for Amity Walk for Living Water 2017.

In the winter in Qinghai, taking a shower is a huge challenge for boarding school children because of the scarcity of energy.

Fund raised from the Walk for Living Water 2017 will be used in building solar showers for primary schools in the Qinghai pastoral areas in Mainland China, thus improving the hygienic condition of the students and teachers.

Please join me to help bring "Living Water" to these students and teachers in need.

Walk for Living Water (WLW) is a fundraising walkathon that is organized by Amity Foundation, Hong Kong.  Participants take up the challenge of walking for miles while shoulder carrying water using bamboo poles and buckets.

WLW aims to raise funds to support both Amity water facility construction projects in poor areas in China and the advocacy work to raise awareness of the global water crisis.

WLW2017 makes the 7th time for Amity Foundation Hong Kong organize the event in response to UN World Water Day campaign that aims to inform, engage and inspire action.

Funds raised from the past 6 WLWs enabled construction of a total of 15 water facilities ranging from village drinking water systems to primary school shower rooms. WLW 2017 hopes to raise enough funds to help build shower rooms for primary students in Qinghai.

Join WLW 2017 with Amity!  Save a drop , Change a life!
