"re: do/ Joseph Lee/ KT Yau" is the first crowdfunded local dance production. The project, re-staging two mature and distinctive solo works, aims to reach more audience and give choreographers a chance to revisit their works. Through crowdfunding by tickets pre-ordering and donation, the project is looking for a more organic and alternative way of creation besides governmental funding, with higher degree of autonomy and more direct participation of audience in return. It is believed that with the aids of the crowds, arts creation could be supported without governmental funding thus bridging the gap between audience and arts creation.
