Gift Compassion: Bring in counselling training to HK to support infertility and miscarriages

The Extraordinary Fairies is a children book that offers a holistic and beautiful interpretation of pregnancy losses mums and children. The author Orchid Bloom and the support group Hope Hong Kong would like to raise HKD100,000 through the sale of the book to bring in professional counselling training from the U.K. to HK, to provide emotional support to women and couples who struggle with infertility and repeated miscarriages. As someone who’s been through the dark journey, Bloom understands the toll of the challenges would take on one’s life and those closest to her. Sadly, it’s a taboo in the society even to raise such topics. The project also includes building a website to provide practical information on such topics as well as promote understanding and compassion among the general public.
