About Jolly Chan's Fundraiser

I target to raise HK$1,000 for FOODSPORT "HUNGER RUN 2017".

To make the “Aquarius Hunger Run 2017" more meaningful, a “Charity Race Quota Crowd Funding Scheme” will be launched this year, where the publics may crowd fund online, sponsoring race quotas for disadvantage groups to join the race and calorie donation.

Aquarius HUNGER RUN 2017 is the 3rd annual charity calorie drive street running event organized by the social enterprise FOODSPORT. All burnt calories from the participants will be converted into the equivalent amount of calories worth of food for donation to our charity partner "Food Angel", providing food assistance for the people with needs in Hong Kong.

To pre-celebrate International World Food Day, Aquarius HUNGER RUN 2017 will be held on 15 October 2017 (Sunday) morning inside the community Tseung Kwan O, to convey the message of “Order less, waste less”, join hand with the world to address poverty, starvation, health and food waste issues. This year a new "Charity Crowd Funding Scheme" is added into the program, to create more opportunities for more people to join the event.

Just One More Step (只差這一步) is the slogin of this year's HUGNER RUN. Through this slogin, we hope to remind the runners that no matter if it is a goal that you aim to reach, or a vision of social harmony, it is just one more step away.

The proceeds of the event, after deduction of the event operations costs (Including food donation costs), will go to "FOODSPORT Community Sport Programs", enables FOODPSORT to continue to sustain and expand our community sport development in Hong Kong.
