Only 10 days left to the deadline of BHOSH fund raising project. We have achieved our target, which is surprising and encouraging. BUT,

Why donation is still needed when we have met the target on the website?

1.     We still need 25000HKD more to buy a second-hand school bus, of course, much more is need to buy a whole new car. Due to the gap of the expectation between us and the fund-raising website(the Fringebacker) , the target is set at 50000HKD, which is insufficient for a school bus.

2.     The donation raised through the Fingebacker cannot be entirely given to the school, because of the rewarding cost, administration cost and the fee charged from the bank.

3.     We have no choice, and can only buy a second-hand school bus. Should they be satisfied? Maybe. But, it is about dignity. The disadvantaged can only deserve something worse? In an ideal situation, everyone should deserve better.

Last but not least, we appreciate your support. At least, we have broken through our limit. We can see the hope. Thank you!

Late August fund-raising event.

In spite of the hot sun and humid weather , little kids from Above and Beyond Education did their best on calling for donation. They sang loudly and tried to explain what they know to the donors, which is appreciated by a lot of Hong Kong people and tourists. Also we are lucky that HK Cable TV comes to film their effort and help promoting the donation. 

Fund raising event in Hong Kong 
I can see lots of beautiful hearts and kindness of Hong Kong little kids " thank you for supporting us! A group of Hong Kong children from Above Beyond is giving their helping hands for our fund-raising projects (Bus to the children's future) . These little kids worked very hard  for selling their hand-made products to call for donation for our school bus in a local shop. They really put a lot of effort on helping our students.

Together to donate an amount of HKD 3850 

The sun disappeared and rain came. It's raining heavily. I could hear the murmuring of the rain,like thousands of diamonds hitting the car roof and we all got wet. There were 20 of us squeezed in the truck ,croweded but felt warm. After an hour finished picking up the studetns, we were heading to their gaduation ceremony.  It's an hour for us but everyday for students, though it's an unforgettable experience for us.
